“A great gift”
Your "Gifts of Change"  is well-written and makes a great gift. I work with many women who were raised to relate to men by giving more than receiving. Changing that is a real "C" change, with a capital C. It's an identity and cultural shift!

“Just what I needed”
I am just finishing your book, The Gifts of Change, and I love it. It is so positive and just what I need now. I am just starting to take control of my life. Thank you for such a helpful book. I keep it by my bed and read it over and over.

“Nancy Christie’s ability…is a wonder…”
Nancy Christie’s ability to combine soulful writing with practical advice is a wonder. I wish everyone would read this book!

“Like a fine box of chocolates…”
I met you in Wausau at the WRWA conference last month. While there, I bought your book The Gifts Of Change. I've treated it like a fine box of chocolates by partaking of a chapter, enjoying it, digesting it, before moving on to another chapter. Last night was the reading of the final chapter. Thank you for taking the time to put your thoughts in writing and your willingness to share them with us, your readers. Chapter 15 especially hit a spot I've needed to consider. Hindrances are popping up like weeds at work. While I've considered the possibility of "retiring" reading your thoughts helped me put the various situations into a different light and examine them. A change is on my horizon, a new adventure is about to begin…

“I would love some day to be able to touch people’s lives the way that you have”
I wanted to thank you for your wonderful inspiring book The Gifts of Change. It is really all about making a decision and committing yourself to being happy, and anything is possible. I would love some day to be able to touch people’s lives the way that you have with my maternity photographs that I take.

“A Must-Have Book”
I just wanted to let you know how deeply your book The Gifts of Change touched me... Your book [has] confirmed that the choices I have made will continue to give me strength. I will be returning to school on January 11 at the age of 47. It’s exciting and frightening all at the same time!

“The best guide book I have found for making ... changes”
I was in the gift shop at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown [OH] and was drawn to your book. It made a couple of days of waiting for the results of my father's tests more bearable. I know I'll be referring to it often after I go through it again and take the steps you have suggested. It is one of the most thoughtful and helpful books I have ever read ... it's time for a change. I know it won't be easy, but I think your book is the best guide book I have found for making changes.  Thanks again for your inspiration.

"A wonderful experience reading it"
Your book is wonderful...It's clear you have a gift for insight and words. There were several parts I really identified with, and I believe you have a wonderful understanding of the challenges and demands women experience attempting to be Superwomen. It's something I have to constantly remind myself to avoid "Superwoman Syndrome."

“Enlightening and inspirational”
I have been translating your book into Turkish [for Troy Publishing of Turkey], and want to present it faultlessly, because it is a wonderful book ... really enlightening and inspirational. I want you to know this: The Gifts of Change gave me a new perspective of life.

“I know that The Gifts of Change will have a great impact on me”
From my new marriage and blending of our families to thinking about the things I want to accomplish in 2005, I know that change will be a common theme… The one thing that I know is that I must identify my primary color/my thread in order to go forward in the new year. The interesting thing (I almost said scary thing) is that I’m inclined to believe making those commitments will involve many changes and walking into unknown areas… I believe God will lead and guide me and prepare me for whatever is next… Your book has already helped me gain a positive perspective on the future!
